Meet Ed
As a pastor, I went through a season of feeling burned out that impacted my ministry, my personal life, and my family. It was during this season that I was fortunate to be introduced to the grace message in 2015. God helped me to understand how I struggled to please Him and earn His favor and the approval of people as well as how I tried to cope when I couldn't meet those expectations. Learning to live from my identity in Christ freed me from decades of legalism and striving to earn God's love, acceptance, and forgiveness as well as relying on others to fill my emotional needs.
After going through the counseling process, I was invited to go through the counselor training with a Network 220 ministry and began helping others find freedom in Christ in 2017. My passion is helping people walk free in their new identities as I counsel individuals, couples, groups, and people struggling with addictions.
I am blessed to be part of the Grace Ministries International family where I can continue to walk with people in understanding who they are in Christ, experience freedom, and to live from the Spirit.
On the personal side, I am married and have one biological son, an adopted daughter, and am a foster parent. Additionally, I have firsthand experience in being a blended family.
"For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified." 1 Corinthians 2:2
