Meet Jenny
I grew up on a family farm in a very small town in Eastern Colorado. I am the mom of three incredible kids, and I am “Grandma” to eight grandkids (the joy of my life). I love the heartbeat of small communities, the wide-open skies, early morning walks, and spending time with my family.
My journey in learning and embracing the truth of God’s grace began in 1980 through Grace Fellowship International in Denver, Colorado. Although I was a kindergarten teacher during two different stages of life, my calling, since the age of 19, had always been in counseling and sharing the message of grace with others.
In 1999 my husband Jon and I began training under Exchanged Life Ministries in Denver CO. Our ministry was heavily focused on reaching youth in our community in a non-churched setting where teens could hear the truth of the believer’s identity in Christ. We became a pilot office for ELM in 2012 and I began discipling children and adults while still pouring into the youth. In 2016 we started our own non-profit and expanded our ministry until my husband passed away in 2021 after a twelve-year battle with cancer. Although the ministry we started is still thriving, God began the painful process of setting me free from trying to hold on to what we built together. He began moving me towards, or back to, my original calling from the age of 19.
I agree whole heartily with the mission of GMI. It encourages me to know that I am part of a team that focuses specifically on helping people experience their freedom in Christ. The exchanged life truths have brought me through every difficult experience in my life. My desire is to spend the rest of my career focusing on sharing the truth of God’s grace with people in our lost and broken world.
